Provide customer support for the online booking tools and other corporate travel software offered by Global Travel Collection. This role faces both internally, with our agents and independent contractors, and externally, with our corporate clients. A successful candidate would have great customer service skills, have a working knowledge of online booking tools, and the desire/ability to solve problems daily.
The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
Responsibilities
Provides support of corporate online booking tools, such as Concur, Certify, and GetThere to meet client needs
Monitor the Help Desk calls and emails. This includes picking up tasks, completing them, and communicating their completion as needed
Present trainings and demonstrations in a professional manner
Customize/format webpages for new clients
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1-3 years’ experience with Concur Travel corporate online booking software preferred, with the ability to learn other tools such as Certify and GetThere
Working knowledge of GDS systems. (Sabre knowledge preferred)
Exceptional customer service skills required along with strong business communication skills (both oral and written)
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to conduct training in both virtual and in-person environments if needed
Detailed oriented while coordinating and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Previous travel agency experience preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
