Responsibilities
Take notes during advisor/client meetings and follow through with action items.
Be versed in the general process for annuity, life, disability, and LTC applications and the estate settlement process.
Be comfortable on the phone, especially with clients and our home office.
Stay up to date with general financial planning and investment tools and trends with guidance from our advisors.
Financial planning duties include producing financial planning letters and using financial planning software with oversight from our advisors.
Work with home office to ensure accurate account setup and resolve issues.
Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts.
Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the financial advisor(s) and associate financial advisor(s)
Set up new clients in our systems and maintain client management systems.
Call clients or prospects to set up meetings or appointments.
Conduct transaction requests as directed by financial advisor(s) and associate financial advisor(s).
Answer unsolicited calls from prospects to schedule appointments or refer to advisor.
Review and respond to client emails/calls as necessary
Required Qualifications
At least two years of experience in the personal financial services industry
Undergraduate degree
Beneficial but not required - licensed with Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) and Texas life insurance licenses
A team player
Organized and detail oriented while also being problem solving and solutions oriented
Ability to adhere to rules and regulations as stated and required by AspenRidge Wealth Advisors and Ameriprise Financial
Ability to support and provide guidance for compliance within our practice
Positive attitude and sincere willingness to constantly learn, grow, and serve others
