This position is eligible for bilingual incentives depending on the applicable memorandum of agreement and the needs of the department. There is an additional $2 per hour for bilingual differential.

The LMFT Clinical Lead will plan, develop, and direct New Dawn’s clinical programs with an eye toward both growth and holistic wellness. Additionally, the Clinical Lead is responsible for supervising 5 clinicians, 2 case managers, and 2 clinical administrative assistants regarding the clinical tasks within the various programs. The Clinical Lead is a liaison between the clinical supervisors, and quality assurance specialists, and serves as a primary member of the Leadership team. This individual will onboard new clinicians, collaborate with community partners and contracted providers, and manage the overall day-to-day functions of the clinical operations and staff. This position reports directly to the CEO with a dotted line to the Leadership team.
In collaboration with the HR lead, lead in the recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of the clinical and administrative mental health team.
Provide individual supervision for up to 6 clinical team members.
Manage the program's budgets and maintain clinical compliance that is fiscally sound.
Work closely with the CEO and Leadership team to scale and grow New Dawn’s long-term strategic plan through new potential revenue streams as they emerge.
Collaborate with the Leadership team to maximize the generation of billing units for assessment, treatment, family therapy services, and mediation support; and to accomplish timely billing.
Participate in Ventura County Behavioral Health operational meetings, and monthly, quarterly, and annual requirements for all Ventura County compliance reporting.
Participate in and facilitate the bi-weekly clinical team meetings to promote positive team dynamics, metrics for success and effective teamwork.
Provide clinical team support with crisis intervention services and protocol.
Initiate backup for crisis intervention cases from five to maximum ten cases per year.
As needed and up to 50% of the time, provide direct 1:1 clinical care to clients using family systems, psychodynamic, and humanistic interventions to promote holistic clinical and wellness care.
Under direct oversight of the Leadership team, this person will coordinate the development and implementation of mental health and casework modalities of the program as guided by Ventura County protocol.
Under the oversight of the Leadership team, coordinate the intake and evaluation of children and youth referred for services. Work closely with community partners regarding placement, referrals, and other ancillary services.
Attending New Dawn’s Ventura County Behavioral Health audits and inspections.
Attend community meetings and training regarding best practices in mental health service delivery. Work in conjunction with the management teams of other mental health programs
Maintain compliance with state and local regulations, and with the terms of the Early Periodic Screening Abide by the Diagnostic and Treatment contract with Ventura County Behavioral Health.
Maintain an ongoing internal audit of clinical charts to assure we comply with all agencies, contracts, funding, and privacy requirements
