Summary
As a Director in University Human Resources, you will be responsible for leading Talent Acquisition and Compensation.⯠You will develop the ongoing practices that will power our recruitment and compensation philosophy and programs, to attract, motivate and retain staff at Iowa State University. This role will be hands-on in solving problems and addressing policies and practices to develop and implement improvements for the benefit of administrators, hiring managers, and employees while addressing the ever-changing market needs and talent issues.You will lead teams who provide recruitment services and development of talent practices, procedures and guidance; and maintenance and development of compensation structures, programs, and processesÂ

A partner to leverage relationships for Regents-wide classification and compensation enhancements and associated collective bargaining agreements;Â
Strong presentation skills to relay information that all parties can understand;Â
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a strong consultative approach to client services are needed in order to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, from senior leaders to a broad manager and employee base.Â
